G.SKILL Launches Trident Z Royal Series DDR4 RGB Memory Kits

Trident Z Royal is the latest addition to the Trident Z flagship family, featuring a crown jewel design. Complementing the patented high-class light bar design, polished aluminum heatspreaders of gold or silver colors cools the memory modules in the award-winning classic Trident Z tri-fin design. And to help maintain the pristine shine of the heatspreaders, each Trident Z Royal memory kit comes with a piece of microfiber cloth to let you wipe away fingerprints and dust.

Upgraded RGB Lighting
Inside the Trident Z Royal is the next generation RGB module designed with 8 individually controllable lighting zones, which allows for smoother color transitions and provides an even more stunning lighting experience for your build. To control this next generation RGB memory, a new set of lighting control software will be available for download from the official G.SKILL website.

Extreme High-Speed Specifications

1) Before installing, please make sure the motherboard BIOS is updated to the latest version.
2) Before installing the software, please extract the ZIP file contents to a known location. If you are using Windows built-in zip utility or having trouble with the installation process, please right click on the ZIP file, click on "Properties", and then check "Unblock". (Click here for an example screenshot)
3) When installing, if the installer isn't working properly for you, please right click on the installer EXE file and choose to "Run as Administrator".
4) On some Z370 and ASUS X99 motherboards, enabling "SPD Write" in BIOS is required: PDF Guide.
5) This software may conflict with other LED lighting control software (such as ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Command Center/Mystic Light, NZXT CAM, etc.). Please do not install multiple software at the same time, or the software may not work as intended. We are working to improve compatibility between the different software programs.

Wenn Du diese Anzeige nicht sehen willst, registriere Dich und/oder logge Dich ein.
Wenn wenigstens angegeben wäre wann im Oktober. Falls Ende, 4 Wochen ist noch ein ganzes Stück.
Kann mir nicht vorstellen das die nur ein "bißchen" mehr kosten als die Standard Z RGB.

Auch wenn ich nicht so auf bling bling stehe finde ich die silbernen schon recht nice.

Ohje dann kommt noch der Weihnachtsaufpreis dazu.
 
Ich finde sie immer noch nett aber nur weil die RGB Riegel vernickelt sind kosten die bis zu 100€ mehr?!

Es gibt schon noch ein zwei weitere Unterschiede z.B. bei der Beleuchtung. Die Preise werden sich bei Verfügbarkeit aber schon noch etwas korrigieren und bei dem relativ interessanten 3200 CL14 Modell beträgt der Unterschied "nur" 35,- Euro.

Das bleibt ab zu warten[emoji6]

Stimmt in Gold beträgt der Unterschied wirklich weniger als in Silber bei den 3200 cl14 die hatte ich garnicht auf dem Schirm

Was mir jetzt erst auffällt. Es gibt gar keine 16GB Module der Royals. Jedenfalls noch nicht auf der Produktseite.

Kommen später, das ist nicht ungewöhnlich. Bisher sind ja auch noch nicht alle 2x8GB oder irgendeines der 4x8GB Kits gelistet.

Für dich ist es dass hässlichste im Jahr 2018 und für andere das geilste Teil 2018

Sind aber auch hart aus Billigplastik welches bestimmt gerne vergilbt und ordentlich klappern tuts auch.
 
Welcher Bin ist das?
 
Sind langweilige 3200er CL16, bestimmt auch nichts spannendes drunter.
Morgen mal anschmeißen und gucken ob mein Mobo überhaupt mit der RGB-Software klarkommt -.-
 
Bei royalen Riegeln sollten sie ausschließlich royale ICs drauf löten. Aber vermutliche wird beim 3200er C16 kein B-Die drauf sein. Oder nur vereinzelt.

Kannst du mal die Riegel mit dem Taiphoon Burner auslesen und checken was da drauf ist? Wäre sehr interessant!

Die Software ist um Welten besser als Asrock's Polychrome, schade das man damit nicht auch den Rest seiner Anlage steuern kann.

Wie erwartet ist nichts spannendes drunter, man zahlt also wirklich nur für die Optik:

Vielen Dank für die Info. Hatte überlegt zuzuschlagen, aber ohne B-Dies uninteressant zum aufgerufenen Preis.

Immerhin gibt es ein paar Modelle auf Samsung 8Gbit B-Die Basis, Die Regeln wie man diese erkennt haben sich nicht geändert und für alles andere gibt es ja die Liste. Wer also ein paar Thaiphoon Screenshots hat, immer her damit.

Nicht wirklich ;) Das sind die neuen C-Dies, die sonst auf keinem "alten" Trident-Z PCB waren. Wenn dann auf den neuen RGB PCB-s.
