Oh I apologize I thought this thread was pictures from 2010 till present. Is there a right thread for that?
Also I see the conversation is about the button on the back, it's not a bios switch
Up until the 1080Ti HOF the switch split the power reading in half so the card was reading 50% of the actual power draw and set the heatsink fans to 100%. So with a 300W bios you could push 600W of power until you hit the powerlimit
By the looks of things they removed the power reading function on the 2080Ti, at least on the one I have it doesn't work, only puts the fans to 100%

That is somewhat right, this thread starts with hardware from 2010 onward, but since this subforum focuses on nostalgia (aka somewhat old stuff), it does not reach all the way to present day.
Going by the first page of the thread it states that it is intended for images of hardware from 2010 up to anything DDR3, like X79 / AM3+ based systems.
So the RTX2080 is certainly "too new" to be considered nostalgic, but from my point of view the GTX1080 has certainly aged to a point where it could be posted here.

Pictures of the RTX2080 would probably best be shown in the GPU section of the forum.
But taking a quick look there, I can't seem to find a general image thread as they are common here and in other subforums.
So maybe someone else can help with that.

And thanks for the clarification on that switch - interesting way to deal with the power limits.

Ok thanks for clearing that up!

Hi all, in October it is planned that I give a live LN2 demo in the Netherlands. My plan is to run FX then and go through the 8GHz barrier. That always looks nice. I binned 3 cpu’s on my Single Stage (6.5GHz range). I will be making sure to upload some pictures here after this.

Was hier so alles auftaucht: Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD4 REV. 1.0
