Q: Wie Windows 11 22H2 installieren wenn LAN nicht erkannt wird?

A: es handelt sich um den "Thunderbolt" (AMD I2C). Treiber

Q: Kann man das Memory Training abschalten?
A: ja in dem man in BIOS "Context Restore" auf enable stellt. Wichtig bei Context Restore, erst einschalten wenn das Ram Training 1x gemacht wurde

Tipps:
Empfohlene zusatzeinstellungen für RAM ab 6000Mhz:
1x Ram Training machen lassen, danach Context Restore aktivieren und Memory Power Down (wird automatisch aktiviert ab Bios 1004). Medium Load Boostit sollte man auch aktivieren was die Stabilität erhöht.

Ups, tut mir leid falls das Thema hier unpassend ist, ich kann auch gerne noch in einem anderen Thread posten bzw. falls möglich können die Beiträge auch verschoben werden. Ich hab den Sammel-Thread für das Mainboard-Modell gefunden und dachte einfach ich probier mal mein Glück, vielleicht hatte ja schon jemand den gleichen Fehler/Q-Codes gehabt und kann mir ggf. weiterhelfen.

Den 0805er BIOS habe ich gerade wieder eingespielt. Nutze einen 4GB Stick, FAT32 im MBR Format und die Datei habe ich als "SX670EE.CAP" im Root-Verzeichnis abgelegt. Gleiches Fehlerbild auch bei dieser BIOS-Version, nur bleibt er beim Code 42 mit roter LED hängen und nicht bei 2E... Ich lasse es mal ein bisschen laufen, vielleicht tut sich noch etwas.

Die GPU hab ich komplett ausgebaut, der Monitor ist am DisplayPort des Mainboards angesteckt. Aber ich bekomme weder ein Videosignal, noch wird meine USB-Tastatur initialisiert.

Das ist ein Original Bios.
 
Die QS und Validierung braucht mehr als ein zwei Tage, es wird also dauern bis aus einem Test BIOS eine Final wird.
 
Was ich heute bemerkt habe mit dem 1001 Bios ist das USB 3.2 nur noch halb so schnell beim Lesen ist. Normal erreiche ich um die 1970 MB/s, jetzt sind es nur noch 1100 MB/s. Schreiben hat sich nichts verändert.

Bei Asus wurde nun offiziell das 0925 BIOS bereitgestellt für das Strix E.

Ich habe mal eine allgemeine Frage zur Software für mein ASUS TUF Gaming X670E:

Ich halte mich normalerweise nur an die Releases die ASUS selbst auf die Supportseite vom Mainboard lädt und das macht für Dinge wie LAN-Chip und Sound-Chip auch Sinn, denn sicherlich hat ASUS da eigene Modifikationen vorgenommen (gerade beim Soundchip) und da wäre es nicht clever, sich sowas z.B. direkt von Realtek rauszusuchen nur um dann in Probleme zu laufen.

BIOS sowieso. (hab noch das 821 vom November 2022 laufen, weil System lüppt stabil, sehe keinen Grund zum Update ^^)

Aber was ist mit dem AMD Chipsatz-Treiber? Der auf der ASUS Supportseite ist immer noch die Version 4.07.13.2243 vom September 2022. Sicherlich gibt es schon einige neuere Versionen die man direkt von AMD beziehen kann.

Aktualisieren oder nicht?
 
ja auf der AMD seite ist der neuste Chipsatztreiber 5.nochwas saug dir den treiber.

hab ein x670e-f inkl 7950x3d und komische boot probleme:
wenn ich den rechner einschalte bootet er meist ins bios mit dem post hinweis, dass etwas komisches passiert sei usw.
im bios sind die einstellungen noch immer vorhanden, also speichern und beenden. reboot bleibt dann hängen meist mit rotem cpu-qled.
mit gedrückter powertaste abwürgen, neustart, post bleibt bei dauerhafter gelber ram-qled hängen.
nochmal komplett abschalten, boot läuft problemlos durch ins windows.

einstellungen habe ich im bios nur die folgenden verändert.
XMP 1 aktiviert
lüfterkurven angepasst.

bios hab ich aktuell noch das 922 drauf, da ich nicht unbedingt beta biose verwenden will, zum allfällige hardwarefehler finden.
hatte jemand ähnliche probleme und konnte sie mit den aktuellen beta-versionen 1002 bzw. 1003 beheben?
oder muss ich mir sorgen um mb/ram machen?

Beide Riegel einzeln auf beiden Ports Mal ausprobieren .
Fährst du Expo ?
Eventuell Mal runter stellen auf Stock Takt z.b 5200mhz .
SoC V sollte nicht zu hoch sein z.b über 1.30V das fällt mir gerade erstmal noch ein.
Ein guter Wert für 6000mhz ca.1,28 V SoC.

Auch eine RAM Inkompatibilität ist möglich aber erstmal die Schritte ausprobieren.

Und zu guter Letzt fällt mir noch ein CPU raus nehmen und die Sockel Pins kontrollieren .
Kenne inzwischen 3 Leute die verbogene Sockel Pins hatten.

Das sind so erstmal Dinge die mir Spontan einfallen.

Hab aktuell zwar noch den 7700X drin hoffe dennoch das dir mein Post hilft.

danke, hab ich alles schon getestet.
aktuell scheint es so, dass es am XMP liegt. Die Bios Version ist gemäss Asus Forum bekannt für solche probleme.
werds wieder testen, wenn die neuen versionen final werden.

Bei mir liefen die XMP-Einstellungen der meisten Module nicht optimal. Haben immer wieder Probleme beim Booten gemacht. Am besten die Werte alle manuell setzen, das funktioniert am besten. Selbst wenn Du die XMP Werte nur manuell eingibst.Sollte die SoC bei Dir auch immer höher sein (HW info) als im Bios angegeben, ist 1.25v im Bios manuell ein guter Kompromiss, das endet dann meist in 1.288- 1.295v.

EDIT: Solltest Du den FCLK anheben, reagieren die Ram Einstellungen beim 7950X3D darauf. Also erstmal mit den Standard 2000MHz testen.

Ich habe den Eindruck das kommt auf das Board und die CPU an. Mein 7950X hat dieselben hohen Abweichungen auf demselben Board gezeigt, ein 7700X jedoch nicht. Auf meinem Asrock Board (auf dem der 7950X jetzt läuft) , gibt es keinerlei Abweichungen, selbst auf Auto nicht.

Ich habe den Eindruck das kommt auf das Board und die CPU an. Mein 7950X hat dieselben hohen Abweichungen auf demselben Board gezeigt, ein 7700X jedoch nicht. Auf meinem Asrock Board (auf dem der 7950X jetzt läuft) , gibt es keinerlei Abweichungen, selbst auf Auto nicht.
Ich glaub das kommt auf die LL Stufe an die Auto gewählt wurde von Asus im BIOS.

Da muss ich leider sagen das ein AsRock PG Lightning (habe ich günstig geschossen) das für einen deutlich geringeren Preis (mit Bios 1.18) deutlich besser macht als mein schönes Asus Board. Da bin ich doch etwas enttäuscht warum Asus dies so macht und es mit keiner Bios Version besser wird. Die Stabilität kann jedenfalls nicht der Grund sein, denn das AsRock Board läuft mit derselben CPU absolut stabil und wird dabei nicht so warm auf z.B. dem Chipsatz. Ich denke dies war dann vorerst mein letztes Asus Board, das erwarte ich für den Preis doch besser.

ja bin von asus auch ein wenig enttäuscht. wenn ich das brett nicht für 50% erhalten hätte, wär ich wohl auch beinem asrock gelandet.
vorallem das es mit neuen bios so lange dauert, wenn dort doch offensichtlich das hauptproblem liegt, finde ich schwach.

wenn man im offiziellen thread mitliest, könnte man meinen shamino arbeitet da alleine nebenbei an den bios-updates.
 
Laut Shamino läuft das Beta Bios 1001 stabil, wenn man im Bios folgendes einstellt:

for the dual rank mem context restore issue,

Bios 1001: MCR enabled will be stable and usable (no more BSODs...), if in the bio setting of DRAM TIMING CONTROL > DRAM POWER DOWN is enabled, too.

Conclusion: For now, MCR and DRAM POWER DOWN have to be enabled at the same time for maintaining a stable system.

Edit: kann es ebenfalls bestättigen. Kein bsod mehr, daher ist das 1001 Bios jetzt für mich aktuell das beste neben dem 0805 und beim 1001 kann ich endlich auch EXPO 2 verwenden was nie ging.
Habe ein X670e wifi mit Bios 1223 aber es ändert sich leider nichts wenn ich Mcr aktiviere. Boot dauert weiterhin etwa 50sek :(

Ich hab ja immer noch mein 0805 drauf und bin sehr zufrieden in Kombi mit meinem 7700X und den 32GB GSkill 30,38,38,96
Expo läuft auf Anhieb und das optimierte Profil CL 28 ,35,36,42 mit scharfen Subs läuft super.

Da hab ich mit meinem Asrock X570 damals richtig Stress gehabt bis das irgendwann lief.

Da erinnere ich mich noch da liefen die Asus Bretter X570 wohl auch nicht so Doll zu Release und gehörten dann irgendwann mit zu besten .

Ich hoffe mit dem 7800X3D läuft es genauso gut und es gibt ein gutes BIOS bis dahin.

Das Teil scheint auch noch andere Sondereffekte zu haben, bei mir (ebenfalls 7950x3D) wenn ich "memory context restore" nutze um keine halbe Ewigkeit auf Q-Code 15 zu stehen kachelt windows mit diverstens bluescreens ab. Alle haben was mit memory zu tun. Nicht mal der recovery mode geht, sogar der kachelt weg :d
