i got this mobo from tigerdirect in the states (shipped ~ 5 days through my APO-AE us mail address) it arrived DEAD

i got the cpu from XS.org and it does 3dm06 @5.6ghz and i have a jinu117 custom single stage phase unit to run it on

im pissed off that i have to wait for the evga rma to get a new motherboard and i hate buying from k&m electronics because it is such a rip off for my us-euro rate

i have a P5K-P and abit in9 max in the mail for me from the us but the in9 is such a pos anyway i wanted to run some 3dm06 in sli on my gem cpu

Ich habe die Cpu von Xs.org gekauft und es macht 3dm06 @5.6ghz und ich lasse eine jinu117 Sitte herausheben Phasenphaseneinheit, es auf zu laufen

im der böse ist ab, dass ich auf den evga RMA warten muss, eine neue Hauptplatine zu erhalten, und ich hasse Kaufen von k&m Elektronik, weil es so ein Riss ab für meine Uns Eurorate ist

Ich habe einen P5K-P und abit in9 Max. in der Post für mich vom uns aber der in9 ist so eine Po sowieso ich laufen wollte ein 3dm06 in sli auf meinem Edelstein Cpu

Ich wäre mit 4.0 - 4.5 Ghz zufrieden, und wenn das Bord schon defekt ankommt wiso baut er es den noch ein als es zurück zu senden und auf Ersatz zu warten das Risiko wäre mir viel zu gross ?

Das ist ein beispiel wie man es nicht machen sollte.

Ich habe ein q6600 gehabt, der an 4,2 ghz 24-7 prime 95 stabil gelaufen ist

im erwartend, dass diese Cpu atleast 4,5 ghz 24/7 und 4,8ghz 3dm06 benchable auf meiner Phasenänderungseinheit ist

Ich bin RMA'ing der mobo durch eVGA Vereinigten Staaten ist fortgeschritten rma Dienst durch meine militärische Adresse

em, ich denke nicht dass du das Mobo ersetzt bekommst ^^
Phasemod is nicht für Privatanwender gedacht, und dass da schnell was kaputt geht ist eigentlich allgemein bekannt... das Mobo dann aber noch ausserhalb der Spezi zu betreiben ist grob fahrlässig, und doch verwunderlich wenn man damit durchkommen würde oder ? ^^
Ich mein wenn man beim Overclocken ma was schrottet is ja net das prob, man bekommt es in der Regel ersetzt, aber DAS ? ^^ Ich könnt mir gut vorstellen, dein Cooler isn bissl zu warm geworden, nur hast du überhaupt ein benutzt laut bild ? ^^

Sehe ich in etwa ähnlich wie Mewtox, sobald dran gebastelt wurde, wird nichts mehr ersetzt und Garantie ist weg.

Aber probieren würde ich es schon auch, obs ein neues Bord gibt.

Did u test it on another board?
Tried a different CPU on the 780i?
Maybe u killed on of the socket pins, while putting thermal grease in it?

i cant test it on another board yet i have my p5k and abit in the mail but not right now if anyone lives near stuttgart ill drive over to test it @ there house

im positive it is the board though it sticks like a error on code ff which means fully fuctioning but it is stuck there and i have booted it with out ram/cpu/gfx card and still it stays stuck if it was just the cpu i would get other error codes but it is just stuck that way

all of the pins are on i have looked at them verry verry closely i have been doing phase on 10 + motherboards and have yet to kill one for reasons unknown like this one??

im not quite sure what you are saying but i think i understand you

i have rma'd motherboards before with the grease still on it and it is all ok it is a protection addition to the mobo. so there is no real void in warrenty there, it is perfectly safe and i will get a rma!

Did u test the board with aircooling before putting the Phasechange on?
Thats what im doing normally...! hehe
had some similar problems with my phasechange on an other board some time ago...
