Wow. @ is really just AT .... I thought so too, but the woman I phoned with was not even close familiar to this expression. (Native)

Maybe the reason was...woman...

It surely IS pronounced "at" (ätt)!

I think we should continue our helpfully english-lesson.

Today i thought to be swimming against the river without a engine and only with a broken oars. It's not easy to continue a nice and useful job, if somebody is working against you.

If i feel like a train stopped by a wall build with a unbelievebal amount of metal. But i never give up my position, i will fight against this cruel and never be a member of this system...

:xmas:

May I?
what the fuck are you talking about? :hmm:

This refers more or less to the topic:
Which kind of stil of speaking english do you prefer? British-english, American-english or Australian-english (for those who don't know: the Australians speak an english which sounds more british than they do speak in the UK)?

Personally I prefer the Australian way of speaking, because it sounds very smart and polite but you can also insult somebody and it doesn't sound some kind of gay :d

Australian english sounds good ... :d

we had that topic on the last few pages :) Bertel prefers AE, I prefer BE :d

but honestly I'm rather speaking AE, because that's what I hear when I play videogames or watch movies/series. that's what I like about CoD-SP for instance :d you can distinct easily between the american and the british english. and due to that I bought each CoD in english language.

bloody hell, we just got our asses kicked!

British English: You ARSE! (<- Worms World Party :fresse:)
American English: You ASS!
Australian English: You DILL! (<- at least that's what my Australian roommate tells me)

I really prefer the American way, but I quite like the Australian accent, too.

Oh hey, btw: please make another one of these great CoD-fragvideos. They were awesome :bigok:

hmmm. maybe I'll start recording in CoD4. but I don't know if I've got enough spare time to do another movie though :/ my study is eating up all the time. :heul:
plus I don't play that much any more :haha: I played CoD2 app. 2-3 hours a day as I went to school.

However, I kinda like the American english much more than the British. To be honest I could laugh every single time I hear British follks talking.
O-Ton: "Hey chap, let´s go dAhncing tonight" :fresse:
Besides all that the Australian countryside accent (good old cowboys) is pretty fucking cool
