The T20 is based around a dual-core ARM Cortex A9 CPU with that additional graphic umphhh NVIDIA is famous for, allowing us to deliver our user experience in a small box, and very low power consumption...

..und sollte einen SigmaDesign Chip (Popbox) und sogar eine ATOM/ION Kombi ziemlich alt aussehen lassen zumindest was Stromverbrauch und GrafikLeistung betrifft. Das Teil soll ca. 200$ kosten.

gibt's für Windows/Mac/Linux und mit der D-Link Box auch auf einer super Hardware. Scheint auch eine tolle Community mit vielen Entwicklern zu sein und ich denke mal der Erfolg wird nicht aufzuhalten sein. Hier im Boxee Blog gibt es auch noch weitere Infos, uA. mit Bildern von der 'TwoFace'-FB und mit einem 'LiveVideo' von der Presentation...das wird ein grosser Hit...nicht nur in USA...jede Wette! Die Box hat imo super Potential (Tegra 2 ist der Hit) und ich hoffe daß sich eine grosse Fangemeinde bildet und kräftig weiter daran entwickelt wird.

'Boxee' läuft ganz gut (erster Eindruck...Beta!) auf meinem Revo/Pov...leider fehlt LiveTV und viele Apps laufen nicht in D :-(
Ein MiniITX Board mit Tegra 2 und vielleicht Android als HTPC...das wär's doch, oder?
Die Box/Tegra2-Platform zB. mit Mediaportal anstatt Boxee würde mir besser gefallen...

war wohl nix mit der sagenhaften Performance...

....it only has enough MIPS to play High Profile stuff under 10 Mbits/sec (I was able to back this up with the info provided by AnandTech here. AnandTech says "Tegra's video decode processor accelerates up to 1080p high profile H.264 video at bitrates in the 10s of megabits per second." ) This means that most of the Blu-ray rips that are out there on the net that have been re-encoded should work but not straight Blu-ray rips....

The Boxee Box has moved to a completely new platform, and is now based on the Intel Atom Processor (the Intel CE4100 system-on-a-chip codenamed “Sodaville”). This switch means that Boxee will be part of the Smart TV program that Intel is pushing and that will be heavily promoted this fall.
