Brauche Catalyst für Win 2003

Hi @ all da ich meine Radeon in Betrieb nehmen möchte will ich natürlich den Catalyst 3.10 installieren aber der lässt sich auf meinem OS nicht installieren (Win 2003 Server Standard).
Weiß einer Rat und zwar schnell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vermutlich hast du es schon gemacht, aber zur Sicherheit: Treiber entpacken und per Hand installieren.

WICHTIG: Wenn deswegen was kaputt geht bin ich nich Schuld.

Anyone with windows 2003 server enterprise & ati card able to install the 3.10 cat drivers?

I cant get this latest set to install. I uninstalled 3.9 as per ati instructions then attempted to install the new ones. When i do i get this message

"inf error video driver not found"

Then i close box and another message pops up.

"setup was unable to complete the installation, try to setup your display adapter with a standard vga driver before running setup"


I installed winsdows 2003 on another partition & tried it on a clean install and its same again. But my previous prob of not being able to install windvd 5 is not there on the new installation

Mystery Man, after the problems I had with the 3.10 drivers on my Windows XP Pro installation-I'm not willing to even test the drivers on my precious, highly stable, uber important w2k3 ES installation. Even uninstalling the 3.10 drivers caused havoc on my XP Pro installation that I finally just recovered an image of the OS to get it back to the 3.9s. As of late I cannot even image my w2k3 ES OS. Apparently some new application I have on the OS has killed the ability to even image it anymore. :sad: Until I solve that problem I cannot take risks with the evil 3.10 drivers. Note: there is another that is having problems with the 3.10 drivers with w2k3 ES: Zao at rage3d

Anscheinend muss man einfach muss man in den Bildschirmeinstellungen die Hardwarebeschleunigung aktivieren.

Und dann den Treiber per Hand installieren.
Rechtsklick auf Desktop - Eigenschaften - Einstellungen - Erweitert - Graka -Eigenschaften - Treiber - Aktualisieren - deine Karte auswählen und dann könnte es funzen

Soll das etwa heißen das ich es vergessen den Catalyst 3.10 auf meinem Win 2003 zu installieren

Da steht leider nicht ob dies über das Setup versucht haben. Wenn deine Installation nicht so wichtig ist kannste jam la meinen Weg versuchen.

so habe den installiert bekommen (habe den Omega Treiber genommen) aber die Freischaltung @9700 funzt nicht.
Könnt ihr mir sagen wie ich die Freischaltung beim normalen Catalyst avtiviere ?

Ja ich habe ne modfähige 9500'er

Du musst einfach vor dem installieren mit dem Rivatuner die atimtag oder so patchen.
