Ohne große Ankündigung hat ASUS drei neue Mainboards für den Sockel FM2+ angekündigt. Darin aufgenommen werden können alle Prozessoren der Athlon- und A-Serie auf Basis des Sockel FM2+. Das A88X-PLUS, A88XM-PLUS und A55BM-PLUS unterscheiden sich vor allem durch den Formfaktor sowie die Ausstattung an PCI-Express-Slots und den weiteren Komponenten. Diese Unterschiede führen wir in den technischen Details gesondert auf.

Bisher hat ASUS diese Mainboards noch nicht offiziell vorgestellt. Daher fehlen auch noch Angaben zum Preis und der Verfügbarkeit.
