[Kaufberatung] Suche mini ITX MB mit Wake on RTC für i3

moin
also TV Karte ist raus. en paar Videos in WMC angeschaut und so scheint alles prima zu laufen
naja fast prima:
hab gemerkt dass nur einer der beiden Ram Riegel erkannt wird. Also hab ich mal kontrolliert ob beide richtig stecken. Dann startete der PC nicht mehr.
mit nur einem Ram auf Ch0 Slot 1 gehts. Als hab ich mal den anderen Ram alleine auf Ch0 Slot 1 getestet. Auch das geht
heißt also beide Speicher für sich funktionieren, nur sobald ich beide gleichzeitig ins Spiel bring gibts Probleme...

eine Funktion namens wake on rtc hab ich zwar gefunden aber wenn ich diese aktiviere, soll ich datum und uhrzeit eingeben wann der pc starten soll... das ist ja nich gerade dass was ich will. er soll sich den zeitpunkt ja vom windwos taskplaner holen

ok, da sind wir doch mal nen ordentlichen Schritt weiter.
Solltest zuerst mal schauen ob Du das aktuellste Bios drauf hast, das findest Du HIER

In dem Bios Glossary steht, das Intel AMT und ME Wake enabled sein muss, dann fährt windows MCE bei einer Timeraufnahme alles auf den minimalsten Status zurück und je nachdem ob die PCI Karte oder das Windows den Wake-Impuls geben startet der Rechner dann zur Aufnahme.

Nach wie vor macht mir der RAM sorgen

welchen RAM nutzt Du genau?

Um normalen Dualchannel mit zwei identischen Modulen fahren zu können, müssen die zwei Module jeweils in den schwarzen DIMMs stecken, sprich ein Riegel in Kanal A Dimm 0 und einer in Kanal B Dimm 0

Wenn das nicht funktioniert, ist entweder der RAM inkompatibel oder das Board hat ne Macke.

definitiv kompatibel sind DDR3 1066 und DDR3 1333 Module von Kingston Value, Corsair, Samsung, Hynix und Buffallo Select Series, bei allen anderen wäre ich mir nicht sicher was die kompatibilität anbetrifft.

Beide RAM Module müssen exakt identisch sein, Timings, Voltage etc. wenn ein RAM Riegel z.B. einen Fehler in der Voltierung hat, dann läuft er einzeln natürlich oder in beiden DIMMS des gleichen Kanals mit einem anderen, dann kann das Board die Unterschiede ausgleichen, wenn man aber die gleichen DIMMs 0 oder 1 beider Kanäle nutzt, funktioniert das nicht, denn die jeweiligen DIMMs müssen die exakt gleichen Werte fahren können.

Evtl. solltest Du mal Memtest drüberlaufen lassen.

Da Du einen integrierte Grafik nutzt, die auf deinen RAM zugreift, könnte das die Abstürze erklären, denn wenn mit den RAMs was nicht stimmt, Du RAM intensive Aufgaben wie TV , Videostreaming etc. nutzt, dann kann es zum Bluescreen kommen, wenn die RAMs nicht einwandfrei oder gar inkompatibel sind.

Im zweifelsfall hilft es die RAMs manuell zu konfigurieren, DRAM Timings , Voltages etc.


Die Wake events sind übrigens voll supportet, sofern Deine Karte eine Wake funktion besitzt, wenn nicht wird der Wake vom Windows durchgeführt.

Heißt, programmierst Du einen Aufnahme und fährst den Rechner danach übers MCE runter ( wichtig ) dann fährt es automatisch in den notwendigen state, sofern im Bios die generellen Wake events enabled sind ( nicht RTC )

Alle Wake Events supportet das Board in ACPI 1 und 3 , Wake by PCI Express auch unter ACPI 5.

Also wenn deine TV Karte eine Wake Funktion besitzt, dann kannst du ACPI auf S5 stellen, wenn nicht, musst Du S1 oder S3 nutzen.

EVTL hat das Board ja auch eine ACPI Auto Einstellung.

also erst mal zu dem ram:
es sind zwei 1333er von kingston, zusammen im paket gekauft. also identisch

im bios hab ich noch alles auf automatisch stehen so laufen sie mit 1333mhz und 1,5V

ich hab eben noch mal alle erdenktlichen kombinationen durchgesteckt. der PC funktioniert NUR wenn beide Module im Kanal B stecken (blau und schwarz) wenn auch nur einer der beiden im Kanal A steckt egal ob blau oder schwarz bleibt der bildschirm schwarz. und ich komme so nicht einmal ins bios...

Entweder ist einer der beiden RAM Riegel defekt oder er arbeitet fehlerhaft, was ich allerdings nicht glaube, oder es ist das Board, was am wahrscheinlichsten ist, denn offensichtlich hat Dein kanal A einen echten Aussetzter.
Einpacken, zu Herrn oder Frau Intel damit fahren und denen das Ding mit besten Grüßen rektal einführen.
Sowas ist Mist, kommt selten vor, aber es kommt vor.
Hoffentlich hast Du es bei einem Händler mit gutem Service gekauft
 
habs zum glück bei amazon bestellt. mit deren service hab ich bis jetzt sehr gute erfahrungen gemacht. ich denke eig auch eher dass es das board ist. den eigentlich funktionieren ja beide ram karten.

ausserdem hatte ich eben schon wieder einen system absturz. ich vermute aufgrund einer zu hohen spannungsregler temperatur die lag eben schon bei 61°C das kann ja auch nicht normal sein...
 
hmmm, ich denke das Board hat ne Macke, ziemlich sicher sogar .
Die PWM Temperatur ist etwas hoch, wie kühlst Du das gesamte Teil ?
CPU, Gehäuse etc.

da bin ich wieder
neues board neues glück....

ram wird jetzt sofort richtig erkannt. und das windows media center läuft nun auch mit hd programmen problemlos

nach etwa 3 stunden tv betrieb aber schon wieder die warnmeldung "voltregulator temperatur zu hoch" so um die 62°C

die anderen temperaturen:

cpu 45°C
platform controller hub 59°C
Memory DIMM 36°C

die cpu wird noch mit dem boxed lüfter gekühlt. Das der nicht ideal ist ist mir klar aber sonst ist eigentlich nichts ungewöhnliches verbaut. ein lüfter in der front schafft luft rein und der NT lüfter auf der anderen seite wieder raus. Gehäusedeckel hab ich auch draf...

wenn ich bei dem großen atx gehäuse schon wärme-probleme bekomme wie soll das erst in einem kleinen HTPC gehäuse werden?

Naja, dass der Boxed Kühler nicht ideal ist, ist nicht richtig, der ist eigentlich für die CPU ausgelegt, leider hat Intel bei den 1156 und 1155 er massive Wärmeprobleme und offensichtlich auch ab und an Voltierungsprobleme.

Ich vermute dass die Widerstände zu gering dimensioniert sind, das wäre eine Erklärung.
