Maus leuchtet auch nach ausschalten???

hi,

ich hab ne logitech dual optical mouse die per adapter am PS2 port hängt.
wenn ich den rechner ausschalte bleibt die maus aber trotzdem an und leuchtet fröhlich vor sich hin???
ist das ne einstellung im bios oder wie??

Nein, das sind restspannungen vom Board.

bei USB ist das glaub ich nicht
und außerdem geht das aber viel zu lang

Das is bei mir und bei jedem den ich kenne genauso, liegt also nich an deinem board

Das Board ist nicht sch**** . Hat glaub ich jedes. wie gesagt, sind halt nur restspannungen.

aber wenn es restspannungen wären müßte sie doch irgendwann ausgehen oder nicht?
und warum tritt das nicht bei USB auf?

Am PS/2 Port sind grundsätzlich alle Geräte unter Strom solange der ATX Schalter nicht ausgeschaltet ist. Es gibt Boards bei denen man dies per Jumper deaktivieren kann, stellenweise auch getrennt für PS/2 und USB.

Bei ATX-Boards leuchten opt. Mäuse am PS/2-Port nachdem Ausschalten des PC, am USB nicht.

"Problem"...gibt ja dafür auch extra auf dem NF7/-S/-M nen Jumper...also nix Problem.

Just below the rear panel of the board, ABIT placed two jumper blocks. The jumper closest to the CPU socket area is marked KBDPWR, most likely indicating that it is to enable a keyboard power on function. The other jumper is located just above the PWRFAN1 fan header, and is unmarked. Note that neither jumper is referenced in the manual and no manual addendum was enclosed to explain the function of the jumpers.

Editor's Note: ABIT replied this morning saying, "The two extra jumpers only for users to disable the PS/2 or USB mouse standby 5V voltage,
so that users could not be disturbed by the light of optical mouse in silent night."

Translation: If you move the jumpers over from default, the light from an optical mouse will turn off when the system is shut down.
