Externer Monitor/Beamer unter SuSe 10.3 mit ATI

Hallo,

ich habe ein kleines Problem. Ich möchte gerne auf meinem ASUS X53Ka, dass wenn ich einen 2ten Monitor oder einen Beamer an den VGA Anschluss dazuschalte, dass dieser automatisch erkannt wird. Die FN Tasten funktionieren leider nicht (acpi4asus ist nicht kompatibel zu meiner Kernel Version).

Das Notebook hat eine X1250 Grafikkarte von ATI. Treiber installieren ging problemlos. Es läuft auch sonst das meiste.

Aber wie kann ich einstellen, dass er externe Monitore automatisch erkennt und dass ich auf diese umschalten kann?

Im ATI Control Panel zeigt er mir nie was an, wenn ich was dazuschalte. Unter Yast->Hardware->Grafikkarte und Monitor habe ich Dual Head aktiviert (im Clone Modus).

Bin noch ein Anfänger in SuSe.

Eventuell kann mir jemand einen Tip geben wie ich das zusamme bekommen, dass wenn ich einen Beamer anstecke, ich ihn irgendwo auswählen und aktivieren kann.

Ich hätte da noch eine Frage, welche aber nicht wirklich dringend ist. Mein Notebook besitzt 2 Grafikkarten (eine integrierte ATI X1250 und eine ATI HD 2600).

Ist es möglich, xorg so einzurichten, dass wenn ich im BIOS von der X1250 (welche zurzeit läuft) auf die HD2600 (hab ich noch nicht in SuSe installiert) umschalte, SuSe die eingestellte Grafikkarte erkennt und die passenden Einstellungen dafür von selbst lädt?
