i bought the Acer AL2623W at Mediamarkt for 265 euro ,with PVA panel.I think a good price, i bought 2 ,one goes back to MM ,one had a slight red haze , one is ok , no " humming " noise , just a known problem with the resolution going down 1 step sometimes, but since i had the xp power settings altered to : switch monitor off after 1 minute if not used i have not seen this problem.
Colors seem fine for photohsop work.
Just a slight problew with a " halo or haze " around fonts ,see :
On left is MS word , right FF3 ,also IE and Chrome look like this.
I did not see this on my 19 inch tft, i have Cleartype on ;
Any tips are welcome
