Absolut. Z.B: VPP fast path, also Vector Packet Processing in der Firewall, es klingt fast zu schön. Mal sehen, was aus Gedanken und Träumen einer fachkundigen Person und KI in der Praxis tatsächlich an Firewall rauskommt.

Naja, der "Chef" ist ja definitiv nicht unerfahren, was Firewalls angeht. ;-) Ich hätt' ja gern schon mal einen ersten Blick auf das geworfen, was da in Entwicklung ist. Aber Public ist ja, bis auf das Design, noch nichts.

OPNsense 26.7.4 released

Today we are rolling out the wireless device MVC/API rework and a
final push for better source NAT replacement over outbound NAT.

Strongswan was updated to 6.1.0 and the GUI now offers a small
recommended set of post-quantum key exchanges.

You may also find the GUI tweaks for advanced option marker and
a dialog search field helpful.

There is a lot more going on as you can see from this changelog,
but more on this and future plans later!

Das Update hatte bei mir Stress, weil es die Plugins zwar über IPv4 geladen hat, das Base und Kernel Image dann aber plötzlich über IPv6 ziehen wollte und das hat gespackt...
Hat mich ne Weile und ein paar graue Haare gekostet, eh ich das raus gefunden hatte...
