1) MSI S260 is certainly a very good option. Perhaps the best for the price. 2) Nexoc Osiris S602 = Cebop Mex 100 = uniwill 223ii0 is good only if you have good luck with a proper unit , see the corresponding threads for more details. Supported by excellent service by Nexoc. Uniwill.de...

Some brands have international warranty, or it can be purchased for some extra cash. Acer is the first example I remember. Afaik Sony is not the case etc. One should find this out in every specific case.

With some notebooks you can save a lot. For example, in the end of the last year the subnotebook Acer TravelMate 3002 costed in Germany around 1600 Euro while in the US it was available for 1300$. There are no BenQ and Samsung notebooks in the US, and some users on american notebook forums...
