Depends on your cooling, my NB is stressed 36`c. With less voltage it won't run on 490. So it's not to much as long as it works :)

Try 2T and up your FSB Don't ask me why but 1T = low FSB And standard in bios = 1T :wall: For me at 1T i run into fsb wall @ 425mhz with qx9650 With 2T i run into the wall @ 490mhz

In the manual it says slot A1 + B1 recommended for dual channel (those are the blue slots) Page 2-19 halfway the page stands the scheme. As far as i remember, on Striker I, the white slots are much better than the blue slots.

What about memory placement? Nvidia recommend to use the black slots on their reference mobos. That are slot 2 and 4, counting from processor. Asus says to use the blue slots, thats slot 1 and 3. Anyone tried whats best? Maybe Asus changed the layout a bit?

Received my Striker II Extreme + Q9650 today, now it's waiting on the DDR3 :( Damn, no results this easter :I
