Guys i would like to ask if my actual temps on my 3090 strix are fine (520W evga BIOS). I'm maxing at 56° while gaming at max load and water reaches 41° which seems pretty high to me. The card is cooled by the phanteks block+mp5works as active backplate, the radiator is an hardwarelabs...
Guy i'm struggling between ekwb and phanteks waterblock for the 3090 strix which is in your opinion the best one to pair with an mp5works as active backplate. There are many tests regarding the ekwb but nome about the phanteks. Which one does perform better?
That 4000c14 1.55v is what i am aiming for. I don't if it worth to get the best binned kit possible or a simple bdie 3200c14 is just enough to achieve this frequency/timings
Guys is in your opinion worth to wait the ekwb active backplate wb for the strix 3090 or going right now for a normal wb (still have to choose which one has the best perfomance) pairing it with the mp5works would let me to achieve almost the same cooling performance?
Right now i've found the F4-3600C14D-32GVK avaiable at 270€ in many european stores, which seems like a pretty good kit too. My target is to achieve 4000c14 (watercooled) pairing it with a 5950x. What's your opinion about this one compared to the 4266c17/4000c17 kits?
So almost the same overclock that should i be able to reach using the 4000c17 kit. Btw the 4000c17 is 290€ (italiano store) while the 3200c14 is 250€ (amazon)
Thanks for the info. Yes probably a 3200c14 would be a better price/performance kit, but for what i have found the difference is something like 40€ less and maybe a better binned kit could help to achieve the best timings possibile (my target is something like 4000c15 or even 4000c14, pairing...
Guys is there any bin difference between these two models F4-4000C17D-32GVKB and F4-4266C17D-32GVKB, the first one is at 1.4v and the second one at 1.5v, I was looking for the second one but at the moment is almost impossible to be found. I will watercool the kit to push it at 1.55/1.6v
I was struggling between that and the bykski one mainly, but also the phanteks one seemsed to be pretty good performing one. If the upcoming ek wb with watercooled backplate would have fit the strix pcb, i would have surely waited it but right now seems like the best pick for strix is the mp5 as...
