Während einer Messe ist auch immer eine Award-Zeremonie vorzufinden. Auf der Computex werden gleich zwei Awards verteilt: Zum einen der best-choice-Award, zum anderen der d&i Award. Letzterer ist der "Design and Innovation"-Award der ausrichtenden Organisation Taitra, die die Computex in jedem Jahr organisiert. Die Awardverleihung wird in Zusammenarbeit mit dem iF-Team in diesem Jahr zum fünften Mal ausgerichtet.
