GPU läuft nur auf PCIE 3.0 x8

moin!

ich wollte gestern seit längerem mal wieder was aufnehmen/streamen und habs zum verrecken nicht flüssig bekommen, egal welche settings.
nach etwas recherche im netz kam dann einer auf den tipp den PCIE slot zu überprüfen, ob die GPU auch auf x16 läuft.

tja was soll ich sagen, sie läuft auf 3.0 x8. hab dann im uefi nachgeschaut ob man das irgendwie verstellen kann, aber fehlanzeige. gibt mir auch einfach x8 raus ohne anpassungsmöglichkeit.

nun hat mein board, da itx, allerdings nur ein PCIE slot (mit x16) und dementsprechend ist auch nur die GPU als zusteckkarte auf dem board vorhanden. ich nutze keine M2 karte oder sonstwas. also wie kann das sein? was klaut mir da mind. eine lane? :/

auf dem board steckt nur cpu, rams, gpu und eine über sata angeschlossene ssd, sowie 5 usb geräte hinten im panel

ich bin mit meinem latein am ende UEFI ist auch aktuell, aber das hab ich seit ich das board erworben hab auch nicht mehr geändert

hatte irgendwo aufgeschnappt im netz, dass dieser usb 3.0 boost eine lane klauen kann. seh aber keine option den aus/ein zu schalten

auszug aus nem anderen forum zu den PCIE lanes auf dem board

The CPU is equipped with 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes. These are the ones that are wired to the single x16 PCIe slot on the ASUS Z97I-plus board. The Z97 chipset has its own supply of PCIe 2.0 lanes that are normally used to provide further connectivity for a board, for instance they are often wired up to provide x1 PCIe slots on a motherboard, or are wired up to any additional third party controllers that are present (like an additional SATA controller for instance).

As you already know, the ASUS mini ITX board you're talking about has no x1 PCIe slots, it just has a single x16 PCIe slot, that is wired directly into the PCIe lanes coming from the CPU. The lanes from the CPU are only used for this one purpose. So, to provide the M.2 slot, without taking any PCIe lanes away from the x16 slot you use for your graphics card, ASUS takes two of the PCIe 2.0 lanes that the Z97 chipset is equipped with, and uses those to wire in the M.2 slot.

So in summary, the M.2 slot and the x16 slot you use for the graphics card are completely separate, and will not influence each other in any way. You can use both slots without any issue.

Die Erklärung zum USB 3.0 Boost findest du im Handbuch unter 4.4.5. Ich würde einfach mal das WLAN-Modul ausbauen und erneut schauen ob es besser wird.

ich hab das handbuch leider nicht mehr

laut der erklärung in meine quote sollte das WLAN modul in dem slot nichts den 16 lanes abzweigen. ich müsste dafür das komplette mobo ausbauen, da ich sonst nicht dran komm (cpu kühler ragt da mit drüber etc.). wenns noch andere ansätze gibt würde ich die bevorzugen

hab die gpu auch schon ausgebaut, alles sauber gemacht und wieder rein, allerdings kein unterschied

edit: hab mir das manual im netz geladen. also ist das ne reine software sache aus der AI suite? sprich im UEFI hat die sache noch keine auswirkung, da wird allerdings auch nur x8 angezeigt

Eventuell alle SATA Anschlüsse belegt, dass kann auch lanes kosten?

Eigentlich sollte sie nicht. Mich wundert es nur, dass sie bei den systems Slots aufgeführt ist.

Hast du vielleicht eine andere Grafikkarte zum Gegentesten?

Also an sich ist es egal ob 8 oder 16 Lanes. Der Unterschied ist nicht wirklich messbar.

hab festgestellt, dass wenn ich die monitor hz von 75 auf 60 runtersetze die videos alle samt flüssig aufgenommen werden............
