Häufig gestellte Fragen

  • Sound setzt aus oder knistert
    Immer wieder USB Disconnects

    Meistens tritt dieses Problem auf, wenn man einen hohen RAM Takt verwendet. In diesem Fall kann man versuchen die SOC Spannung auf 1.125V zu erhöhen. Sollte das nicht ausreichen, zusätzlich noch die VDDG CCD Spannung auf 1.00V (oder niedriger), sowie VDDG IOD Spannung auf 0.925V stellen.

  • USB Disconnects
    Mit bestimmten UEFI/Agesa Versionen (v2 1.1.0.0/ 1.1.8.0) können sporadische USB Disconnects auftreten. Um dies zu umgehen bitte folgende Einstellung im Bios deaktivieren:
    UEFI -> Advanced -> AMD CBS -> Global C-States deaktivieren
    Der Verbrauch steigt dadurch um ca. 5Watt an aber ansonsten hat man keine weiteren Nachteile

  • USB Flashback funktioniert nicht
    Bitte folgende Punkte ausprobieren:
    - Datei richtig umbenannt? Vorzugsweise mit dem im BIOS Download enthaltenen Renamer
    - Vor dem Flashen das BIOS auf Werkseinstellungen zurück setzen!
    - Einen anderen USB Stick ausprobieren. Vorzugsweise ein USB 2.0 Stick

  • BIOS/UEFI Downgrade
    Ein UEFI Downgrade ist ohne Probleme mit USB Flashback möglich, soweit vorhanden.

  • Ist der Chipsatz Lüfter regelbar?
    Nein, dieser wird automatisch, je nach vorhandener Temperatur, geregelt. Bis zu einer Temperatur von 55 Grad ist der Lüfter deaktiviert. Bei höheren Temperaturen wird er stufenweise schneller bis er letztendlich bei 93 Grad seine Höchstgeschwindigkeit erreicht. Über selbst erstellte Bios Mods kann man jedoch den Lüfter auch nach seinen Wünschen einstellen.

  • Chipsatz Temperatur zu hoch?
    Wem das Optische nicht so wichtig ist, kann die Lüfterabdeckung vom Chipsatz beim X570-E oder x570-F entfernen. Dadurch staut sich die warme Luft nicht an, sondern kann direkt entweichen.
    Des weiteren kann man im Bios unter "Onboard Devices Configuration" die vorhandenen Steckplätze (PCIe X16, X1, M.2, SB Link) manuell auf PCIe 3.0 umstellen, sofern man keine PCIe 4.0 Karte verwendet. Bei Auto Einstellung wird automatisch PCIe 4.0 angelegt, was zu einer höheren Last führt.

  • Kann ich ein altes Bios Profil mit einer neuen Bios Version nutzen?
    Nein, es ist zu empfehlen kein altes Profil mit einer neuen oder älteren Bios Version zu nutzen. Dies endet meist mit einem Blackscreen. Nach jedem Bios Flash bitte die Einstellungen neu vornehmen. Selbst wenn sich ein Profil laden lässt, kann es trotzdem zu Instabilität führen.

  • Rechner bootet nicht, wenn eine Soundkarte verbaut ist
    Dieses Problem kann mit dem Bios 1404 oder höher (Agesa 1004b) auftreten. In dem Fall bitte in dem AMD CBS Menü die Option "PCIe Ten Bit Tag Support" auf Disabled stellen. Sollte das nicht ausreichen, dann zusätzlich noch unter dem Menü Advanced -> Onboard Devices Configuration -> die Option PCIEXxxx (den Slot auswählen, in der die Soundkarte steckt) von Auto auf Gen3 ändern.

Hat einer von Euch die Kritik von Buildzoid zum ROG X570-E bzgl. der Spannungsversorgung verstanden? Er hat z.B. das Asrock Taichi als besser angepriesen und das Crosshair in den Himmel gelobt. Wenn man aber in den Listen nachschaut, dann auf dem Papier das X570-E doch nur eine Phase weniger als die Crosshair Modelle, nämlich 6 statt 7, aber ansonsten die gleichen hochwertigen Teile, insbesondere die 60A Stages, verbaut. Kann es sein, dass er in diesem Video die etwas schlechtere Stromversorgung des X570-F angenommen hat?!?

Weil von den Papierwerten schaut das X570-E imho ziemlich gut aus!

Perfekt. Über Bilder von Board und besonders von allen Bios Optionen würde ich mich sehr freuen.

Nein habe es noch nicht angeschaut. Er hatte in der Vergangenheit schon das eine oder andere bemängelt, was ich selbst überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen konnte. Schaue mir das Video bei Gelegenheit aber an.

Ja genau das glaube ich nämlich auch!

Dabei hat das -E doch die Stromversorgung von den Crosshair Modellen, eben "nur" 6 statt 7, aber trotzdem weitaus besser als die normalen Asus Boards!

Nach momentanen Stand ist die Option zum regeln zwar im Bios vorhanden aber nicht freigeschaltet. Ich hoffe mal Asus schaltet dies von sich auch noch frei. Andere Hersteller haben auch schon nachgezogen und entsprechende Option eingefügt.

Bin überhaupt kein Fan von zusätzlicher Software aber immerhin kann man ihn irgendwie regeln. Kannst du was zu den Idle/Last Drehzahlen und Temperaturen vom Chipsatz sagen?
 
Hat Buildzoid nicht auch gesagt, dass das TUF Gaming die selbe Spannungsversorgung hat, lediglich der SOC-Teil sei schlechter. Deswegen hyped der gerade das Modell. Ansonsten steht für mich die Wahl auch (derzeit) zwischen TUF Gaming oder Strix-E. Die Features von letzterem fänd ich durchaus nützlich (ax vs ac, 8x USB 3.2 vs 3x), 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet (auch wenn ich eigentlich 10 will, aber eine entsprechende Karte kostet derzeit 90 Euro..., also den Preisunterschied den man hier zahlt... und das, ohne die extra Features).

Bin kein Fan von dem Grill über dem Lüfter. Das ist beim TUF finde ich viel besser gelöst, da kann die Luft sich frei bewegen. Hat ASUS denn wenigstens Abstand gelassen, so dass frische Luft von der Seite dazu kommen kann?
 
Bei mir bedeckt die Graka zu 50% den M.2 Lüfter. Zwischenraum ist da nicht wirklich viel.

Habe jetzt Beta BIOS 7010 drauf gebügelt. Da kann man allerdings nur die Minimal Drehzahl des M.2 Lüfters einstellen. Diese ist minimum bei 200 Umdrehungen voreingestellt.

Fan Expert benötige ich schon alleine deshalb, weil ich eine ROG Ryujin 240 AiO Wakü verbaut habe. Damit wird auch diese gesteuert.

Dann ist der Kerl aber falsch informiert! Ab dem das ROG X570-E und die Crosshair Modelle haben die 60A Power Stages. Alle Boards darunter haben die 50A DrMos!

Ja stimmt. Weiß jetzt auch nicht mehr wie der darauf gekommen ist, schließlich hat er sich die ganzen Dinger ja auch genauer unter die Lupe genommen. Vielleicht Schlafmangel. :d
 
Mein Strix X570-E wurde heute bestellt und die Versandbestätigung habe ich auch schon. Sobald es da ist gibt es ein Update mit Bildern vom Board und Bios :)

Hab bei meinem x470-F unheimliche Probleme mit den Fan Xpert 4 gehabt. Sobald man die Punkte zur Regulierung der Lüftergeschwindigkeit zu schnell nach oben oder unten verschoben hat, hat sich das Board mit einem Bluescreen verabschiedet und das bei Stock Bios Settings / Bios mit CPU OC / Bios mit CPU + RAM OC / Bios mit CPU undervolting / Bios mit CPU undervolting + RAM OC
Die einzig gute Möglichkeit war es die Lüfter einfach über das Bios selbst zu regeln, was etwas unkomfortabel ist.
Windows 10 war eine Neuinstallation.

Mir fällt dazu nur ein, das das E mit W-lan ausgestattet ist, und das F nicht. Und das E hat einen Fehlercode Poster.

@alpinlol: Diese Probleme sind mir nicht bekannt. Auch nicht von meinem vorherigen C6H. Ist kein tolles Programm, aber immer noch besser, als jedes mal ins BIOS wechseln zu müssen, wenn man was verstellen möchte.

Außerhalb von Windows aber dann Pflicht...
Mal schauen, ob ASUS da nicht noch nachbessert.

Ich habe lieber eine Software auf PC, als jedes mal zum ändern ins BIOS zu müssen.
