Ich würde mal so sagen, prinzipiell sollte es gehen. Aber das werden weder Intel noch die NB Hersteller zulassen das auf der Santa Rosa Plattform Montevina CPUs laufen. Die wollen ja schließlich auch Geld verdienen.

nachdem ich denen erneut geschrieben hab ob sie nicht ganz dicht sind.... mich seit mitte mai verarschen zu wollen mit deren lahmheit .. ;-)

Da hast du richtig Glück... bei mir haben sie die Anfrage im ocss.msi.tw einfach nach paar Monaten geschlossen...nun mal wieder neue Anfrage gestellt, einmal kam die Frage welches Vista ich benütze (Vista 32bit SP1 war anscheinend zu ungenau) und seit Wochen kein Response... ich schreib aber alle 1-2Wochen etwas in meinem Thread...vielleicht liest ja wer mit. Es traut sich nur niemand zu antworten.

habe das Notebook mit 1 GB 667 MHZ Transcend Speicher.

Kann ich jetzt irgendein x-beliebiges 2 GB Modul mit 667 MHz ohne Probleme einsetzten und das Notebook läuft ohne Abstürze??

Kennt sich jemand damit aus?

hi,

es ist alles so extrem kompliziert und lahm. aber ich bin eh noch immer drann.

holland und das ocss sys. ist mittlerweile ausgeklinkt und ich schreib mit einem supporttypen aus taiwan direkt email weil mir das alles mit der warterei schon so auf die eier gegangen ist.

ich bin derzeit an meine high priority problem drann bzgl. expresscardslot weil da hats leider massiv was in bezug auf firewireaudio interfaces.

sobald das erledigt is gehts wieder weiter mit dem nerven bzgl. den anderen offenen gschichten

ich bin jedenfalls eh noch immer an der sache dran.

kann man eigentlich irgendwo einstellen, dass der PC automatisch mit aktiviertem WLAN aber deaktiviertem Bluetooth hochfährt?
Zum Energiesparen mag es ganz sinnvoll sein, wenn beides zunächst deaktiviert ist und man WLAN erst über die eine Zusatztaste anschalten muss, aber bequem ist das in der Praxis manchmal leider nicht...

Mal kurz ne ganz andere Frage, die Software die bei dem Fingerprintreader dabei ist, kann nicht mit dem Firefox 3 umgehen, weiss da jemand obs ne neue version gibt?

I checked the design spec and found your CPU temp is normal.

regarding the fan. i don`t mean to turn off the fan completely but to change the value where it turns on. eg until 50° no fan and if the cpu temp is 51 > turn on the fan. (there are many nbs out there which stop fan if it drops below a given value.) pr200 fan definitely does not stop. (as written i the last mails, many pr200 users wan`t this really bad.)


thanks for the info regarding s260 and s270, i only mean that pr200 should work like them regarding the cpu fan.

The fan runs at 40% speed when the temp is less than 54℃ but we cannot let CPU fan run slower than 40% or we will get some thermal problems.

If we turn off the fan when the temp is lower than 54℃, we might get the problem like you said. Even we lower the fan speed, we might get lots of feedback about the notebook is too hot....
Each NB should have it fan table to control the fan speed.
Different range of temp has its own fan speed.
For example,
Temp (℃) Fan Speed
Under 54 >> 40%
54 - 59 >> 45%
59 - 64 >> 50%
..................
..............
...........


so you mean, if you`ll set the value to eg. turn off fan when temp is lower than 54°, then the temp will increase verry fast and the fan will always turn off (cpu gets hot very fast) and on (cpu fan will drop the temp below 54) in a to short timeframe as it makes no sense for you to do this change?

If we turn off the fan when the temp is lower than 54℃, we might get the problem like you said. Even we lower the fan speed, we might get lots of feedback about the notebook is too hot....

Also leute ich hab echt alles versucht!! Deutschland, England, Niederlande, OCSS Taiwan, direkter mail Support Taiwan (über connection aus den Niederlanden)

Resultat: der Deutsche ist für a..., der Englische nicht zuständig, der Niederländische zwar nett verspricht viel aber passiert nicht viel, OCSS kostet viel Zeit + bringt aber nix weil die Typen entweder garnicht oder nur nach massivem Aufstand reagieren und auch dann nur 1-2 Replys und dann nichts mehr bis man es wieder scheppern lässt.

noch eine info

bzgl. dem verhalten des wlan/bluetooth schalters.

in vista öffnet sich ein kleines fenster wo man wählen kann was aktiv / inaktiv sein soll.

unter xp gibts das nicht. da gibts nur > wenn wlan aktiv und bluetooth soll aktiviert werden > bluetooth killt dann mal das wlan.

We add this function when PR200 runs under Vista.
Frankly speaking, it is our specification. To have this function, it needs
the collocation of Vista BIOS.

somit: ich hab den mal gebeten die funktion mit dem kleinen gui auch für win zu implementieren damit man wlan unabhängig vom bluetooh verwenden kann ohne das bluetooth das laufende wlan killt und man dann wenn bluetooth aktiv ist wieder die wlan connection aufmachen muss das beides funzt.

ich werd da drann bleiben aber is mir momentan nicht so wichtig da ich bluetooth so gut wie nie verwende.

bei mir funzt unter xp keine einzige expresscard ordentlich! und wenn sie richtig erkannt wird (dann nur tlw.), dann ist wenn mit karte im slot rebootet > nachher ein gelbes rufzeichen im geräte manager.

seit langem wieder mal ein update:

bzgl. dem hdmi >> der msi typ meinte blabla bei ihnen ist alles ok und es wurden keine probs festgestellt. (die antwort hat eh noch ein nachspiel... keine sorge..)


aber derweil mal infos für alle >> das problem liegt bei intel und hat eigentlich nichts mit msi ansich zu tun.
es gibt sehr viele leute mit diversen notebooks die mit dem hdmi der intel gma x3100 grafik probleme haben.

testet mal mit diesem treiber ;-) der ist ganz frisch released worden nachdem sich in den intel eigenen foren die leute so aufgeregt haben!

p.s @ all bitte tested eure pr200 mit expresscards > karte bei geladenem win vista/xp instecken + gerätemanager checken ob gelbes rufzeichen vorhanden.
wenn dem nicht so sein sollte > bitte pc rebooten und schaun ob die karte dann überhaupt noch im gerätemanager aufscheint!! danke. denn bei mir gibts da massive probs und wenn ihr dann irgendwann eine expresscard selber dringend benötigt wird der kack dann nicht funzen wenns ned gefixed wird!!

Ok, danke werde ich machen.
Den Accelerator hab ich noch nicht getestet, dafür aber jeden Graka Treiber installiert der raus gekommen ist.

Klar das bei denen alles geht, sowohl ALB wie auch Wortmann können aber ebenso bestätigen, dass dies nicht geht. Die haben eh nur am 19" Monitor bestimmt getestet, weil die Auflösungen kleiner 1280x800 gehen.

ich weiß, hier wurde schon ewig nix mehr geschrieben...aber ich spiele mit dem gedanken, mein msi pr200 von 2gb RAM auf 4gb RAM aufzurüsten.

Erstmal: Was für eine Taktrate unterstützt es maximal? Verbaut sind ja 667Mhz Module, aber der Chipsatz hat doch 800MHz, oder? Werden dann 800MHz Module unterstützt?

Und dann: Was für Module sollten verbaut werden? Welche Marke?

Und: Lohnt sich der Aufpreis für CL4 statt CL5?

Hab 800MHz drin, wird aber nicht unterstützt, CL4 oder 5 ist egal...einiges mehr bringt eine 7200upm Platte.
