@Andy81: ich hatte das gleiche problem mit dem download der alten treiber. aber der link in einem der ganzen threads dort funktioniert noch, und zwar der hier:

Das mit der Installation ist relativ leicht. Befolge einfach den GUIDE im driverheaven oder die von mir angegebene Lösung hier auf der Seite.

1. Creative-Sachen deinstallieren + DriverCleaner drüberlaufen lassen
2. YouP-PAX Treiber installieren
3. Audigy 4 ISO installieren (ohne Audioconsole und ohne Treiber)
4. Patches rüberziehen
5. Falls du Besitzer einer Audigy 2 Platinum oder 2ZS Platinum bist, installier noch das Audigy 4 PRO Update (HIER) damit die Fernbedienung auch weiterhin funktioniert.

Hi danke für die Info. Das Problem ist aber, dass mein externes Panel den Strom über Firewire bezieht. Und Firewire funktioniert ja mit den audigy 4 treibern nicht mehr?!

Morgen.
Bei meiner Audigy2 ZS verstellt sich im Surround Mixer 4.00.05 dauert die Lautstärke über den "Wave" Regler. .
Das heißt ich stelle zb. 45% ein was eigentlich passend ist, höre winamp gucke einen film, lade gohtic2 und bumm höre ich nichts.
Gucke ich dann im Mixer nach steht der Regler wieder mal auf 3~8 %.
Gibt es da vielleicht irgendeine creative config die ich auf schreibgeschützt setzen kann, oder sowas in der art?

also welcher anleitung soll man denn nun folgen? das is total verwirrend, zig versch. anleitungen, x versch. treiber ich weis nu echt nicht was ich machen soll.

Also nach der Anleitung habe ich es auch gemacht und es funzt alles einwandfrei, habe schon mehrmals formatiert und dementsprechend installiert und gehe stets nach dem Schema vor.

Hier ich zitiere sovietdoc von DriverHeaven.net

"Okay, Ill start off imagining like you have just installed windows and your computer is clean. In the end I'll say what to do if you are installing without reinstalling windows.

1. You should have a CD with Audigy4 ISO on a CD, of it may be mounted on a virtual drive. Also you should have the YouP Audigy4 Driver versions 1.00, 1.01 or 1.02. After the windows install, install your chipset drivers and etc, then reboot and install any Service Packs but don't go to the windows update just yet. After the service pack installation, reboot and double click on the Audigy 4 1.02 driver (i'll use 1.02 as an example). Go through it by clicking "next." A page should apper with different music presets (Music I, II and Games/DVD.) Select the one that fits you best (description of each can be found on the page before that in the installation program). Make sure when you install these drivers you install the Audio Console as well. After the driver installtion is successful, restart your PC.

2. After your computer was restarted, dont go into the Audio Console just yet to setup your system. Put in the Audigy 4 CD (iso) with drivers. When it asks you which type of instal you want, always click "Custom." In the custom installation you can install anything you want but make sure "Audio Console" and "Drivers" are unchecked because you already have them. After the install, don't forget to reboot your PC.

3. After both of those have been installed, make sure you get the "Audigy 4 patch" (link in at the end of the thread). Replace your "SpkSet.exe" which is located in X:\Program Files\Creative\SBAudigy4\Speaker Settings, with the one from the patch package. Do the same thing for the file called "SurMixer.exe", it's located in X:\Program Files\Creative\SBAudigy4\Surround Mixer. I suggest rebooting after that but thats optional.

4. After replacing those two files, get the Speaker Calibrator from the link below. Install it and reboot. After the reboot go to your Audio Console and configure everything. Don't forget to check Sound Properties in the Control Panel, make sure speakers there are set to whatever you're using. (2.1, 4.1, 5.1 and etc.) Because a lot of time Audio Console says "5.1" for example, but in windows they're still "Desktop Stereo Speakers". Run the speaker Calibrator if you have to configure your speakers "Perfectly" lol.

I also suggest going to the www.sounblaster.com and downloading the patch for the Creative Entertainment Center from the Audigy 4 Pro support page, and the Media Source patch. They're not integrated into the Audigy 4 ISO so get them separately. Of course install them after you've installed everything else.

For the people who didn't didn't reinstall windows, get the Driver Cleaner from the link below and clean everything with it. Just make sure you uninstall your Audigy Drivers/Software first. Then reboot after everything is cleaned, make sure "Creative" folder isnt in the Program FIles anymore, Search the registry as well for Creative Tech, and delete all those entries. Rebbot again and follow all these steps.

For the people with huge shutdown delay, go to the Creative Entertainment Settings and disable it. Make sure you uncheck both "Enable" and "Enable When Windows Starts Up."

**NOTE**
It's VERY importand that during installing everything you DO NOT change any of the default installation paths. If you do something might not work/crash. So, I warned you. "

ich habs mit der anleitung von tg_steve gemacht:

aaaaalso, jetzt mal gaaanz einfach und der reihe nach

Anleitung, um eine Audigy2 mittels PaX-Treiber zur Audigy4 zu modden!

1. Im abgesicherten Modus starten (kurz bevor Win XP startet F8 drücken) und mit Driver Cleaner Pro Download Driver Cleaner Pro
die alten Treiber vollständig entfernen, sowie den Creative-Ordner löschen. ---> normaler restart (nicht abgesichert)

2. PaX-Treiber rauf Download YouP-PAX-A4v1.02.exe
NEUE VERSION: Download youppaxfi231.zip.html
Je nach Geschmack auf Musik I, II oder Games stellen.
Auf der Seite zuvor kann man die genaue Beschreibung (auf englisch) nachlesen, wenn man ganz runter scrollt. Meiner Meinung nach bringt "Games" das beste Ergebnis.
Die Installation der Creative Audio Console nicht abbrechen, die muss auch rauf. ---> restart

3. Audigy4-ISO saugen Download Audigy4-ISO
und mit Deamon-Tools mounten Download Daemon Tools
Die CD startet automatisch, alles, was benötigt wird, installieren bis auf die Audio-konsole und die Treiber, da beides schon von den PaX-Treibern installiert wurde.
MediaSource auch installieren, aber wieder nur die benötigten Komponenten. --->restart

4. A4_Patch Download A4_Patch
saugen und die originalen dateien durch die darin enthaltenen ersetzen.
(X:/Programme/Creative/...)

5. Speaker Calibrator Download SpkCal_eng
saugen und einfach installieren.

6. Jetzt alles nach Wunsch einrichten, mit dem Speaker-Calibrator kann mans perfekt machen

***WICHTIG***
Keine Standard-Installationspfade ändern und vor Schritt 6 kein gerade installiertes Programm öffnen, sonst kann es sein, dass es nicht funktioniert und ihr von vorne anfangen müsst!


Ich hoffe, ich konnte jetzt alle zufriedenstellen und es ist verständlich genug geschrieben!

nun steht bei mir aber in der creative software audigy4, sollte das nicht audigy 4pro heißen?
gibts bessere varianten als die, mit den paxtreibern?

Ok, Du kannst von hier -> http://ordorica.org/index.php?id=63 erstmal beide Dateien runterladen: die grosse Audigy 4 Pro ISO (214 Mb) und den kleinen Patch (39 Kb). Die benötigst Du nämlich auf jeden Fall.
Jetzt fehlen Dir noch die eigentlichen Treiber, die Du z.B. hier bekommst -> http://ch-de.europe.creative.com/sup...pe=0&details=1

Wenn Du alle drei Dateien hast, gehst Du so vor:

- Deinstallation Deiner Creative Soundblaster Software und Treiber
- Neustart
- Installation der neuen Treiber
- Neustart
- Installation der Software aus der Audigy 4 Pro ISO. Das ist etwas tricky: Wenn Du das entpackte ISO-Verzeichnis vor Dir hast machst Du einen Doppelklick auf "Setup.exe". Die verlangt, dass Du eine *.dbd-Datei angibst. Die korrekte dbd-Datei findest Du im entpackten ISO-Verzeichnis im Unterordner "CTrun", in dem sich u.a. die Datei europe.dbd befindet. Diese europe.dbd wählst Du also an, worauf das Setupprogramm ordnungsgemäss gestartet wird. Hier installierst Du, wozu immer Du Lust hast BIS AUF DIE TREIBER. Die also nicht mitinstallieren!
- Neustart
- Installieren des Patches (Anleitung inkl.)

ich habe das jetzt so wie Geist gemacht - ich wusste nicht was du mit Anleitung inkl. beim Patch meintest - haben einfach die beiden Original Dateien mit denen des Patches ersetzt.

Hm scheint alles zu laufen - im Geräte Manager von Windows wird die Karte als Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS (Wdm) erkannt - ist das richtig so?

Jo..ich will das nun auch mal probieren, aber kann mir erstmal wer sagen wie ich überhaupt die Software der Audigy 2 löschen kann?! Ich habe weder unter Software noch sonstwo was.. Son scheiss.
Also ich habe nun die aktuellen Treiber von der Creative HP, wie oben verlinkt. Erst die installen, dann rebooten, dann das Image mounten etc..?
