Hi foobar User. Ich benutze den Player nun auch seit einiger Zeit, aber was mich TIERISCH an t, ist, dass Foobar manchmal/oft meine Folder.jpgs als Cover ausliest/die Prioritäten unterschiedlich verteilt sind OBWOHL ein Coverbild mit der *.mp3 Datei in den ID Tags verknüpft ist. Lösche ich die Folder.jpg Datei, wird das korrekte Cover der *.mp3 Datei angezeigt.
Kann ich foobar irgendwie beibringen, dass er die folder.jpg nicht ausliest oder die folder.jpg Erstellung von Windows gleich unterbinden?

die Regeln für die Cover-Darstellung sind in den Einstellungen unter "Display" - "Album art" - "Front cover" zu finden. Dort müsstest Du dann einfach die Einträge löschen.

Ahhh...hervorragend, danke dir. Wenn ich allerdings nun ein Album kaufe, ist ja die folder.jpg standardmäßig drin und wird dann nicht ausgelesen.
Wer kaum überhaupt auf die Idee einen Dateinamen für jedes beliebige Album erstellen zu lassen? Viel besser wäre doch eine unverwechselbare ID beim Cover als Dateiname damit es keine Überschneidungen gibt. So muss ich bei jedem Album die Cover selbst mit einem ID Tag Editor umbenennen/neu verknüpfen. -.-
Aber danke, geht wohl nicht anders.

erstmal sorry für die späte Antwort. Irgendwie habe ich es mal wieder übersehen, bzw. vergessen zu antworten.

Leider kann ich das mit dem Blinken auf meinem System mit XP nicht nachvollziehen. Auch bei bei einem kurzen Test in der VM mit Windows 7 blinkt bei mir in der Taskleiste nichts. Vielleicht kennt jemand anderes ja das Verhalten und kann dazu noch etwas sagen.

soweit mir bekannt ist unterstützt WAV gar keine Album Art in den Tags. Das ginge dann (meines Wissens nach) nur über die Cover-Bilddatei im Ordner.

Muss es denn unbedingt WAV sein? FLAC oder ein anderes verlustfreies Format ist doch viel komfortabler. Zudem spart es Speicherplatz.

Ah ok... danke für die Rückmeldung. Gut, dass Du es noch gefunden hast. :-) Komisch, da es auf meinem System mit XP auch angehakt ist und da nichts blinkt. Vielleicht liegt es eben an XP oder meinem Visual Style.

Eine Möglichkeit zwischen den verschiedenen Playlisten im Shuffle-Mode zu wechseln kenne ich jetzt nicht direkt. Aber Du könntest doch mit einem "Media Library Viewer" arbeiten, wie z.B. mit der integrierten "Album List" oder Facets. Und dann halt die Genres auswählen.

Oder Du legst Dir eine "Autoplaylist" an, die nur bestimmte Genres enthalten soll:

%genre%  IS Pop OR %genre%  IS Rock

Oder alle Genres, aber bestimmte Genres nicht:

NOT %genre% IS Polka AND NOT %genre% IS Wurstmetal
