Standard Are these wc components good?

    Hello guys

Hope you dont mind English i can understand a little bit german but not everything

I came here mainly because there was a huge thread for the Aquacomputer XT. Wich i want to order and i'm convinced its a good but especialy a silent pump. Some of the components here are German made so i think i'm at the right place So what are your toughts of these components? Did i made the right choice for 3/8 compression and 3/8 ID - 1/2 OD tubing they are compatible right? Pleace tell me your toughts and if needed some advise.

I will overclock the core i7 920 to 3.0ghz or 3.2ghz not higher and il use the GTX260 55nm is the XSPC RX360 Triple Radiator good enough to cool the cpu and gtx gpu? (i want to watercool the cpu and gpu only...silence)

These are the components i want to get:

Aquacomputer Aquastream XT - Standard Version pump (with G1/4 adapters)
Watercool HeatKiller (HK) 1366 Rev. 3.0 LT
EK Water Blocks EK-FC260 GTX SLI (55nm G200b) not sure about this one
    XSPC RX360 Triple Radiator
    Swiftech MCRES-Micro AGB Rev. 2
    10 x Feser 3/8 compression fittings
    3m Feser 3/8 ID - 1/2 OD bleu tubing
Tecnofront AirBox plexi 360 - Triple
Swiftech MCB-120 "Radbox" (radiator outside of case)
    6x Noiseblocker NB-Blacksilent XL1 Rev.3 (69 m3/h - 13 dB/A) are these good? because i want silence but with good/decent airflow
And some destilled water and anticorrosion/algea/bacteria.

Wich one of these is better for lowering the sound of the pump?

    should i get this: http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...im-pumps-.html

    or

    http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...-original.html

Are these good components should i buy them? I did some research regarding restrictiveness of the components wich these components are not atleast i hope so and the radiator is designed for low rpm fans and for silence.

    Anyway tell me your toughts
    Thanks in advance

It is enough. BUt 3,2 ghz are not very much. I'am sure, that you can go further without increasing the vcore.

EK Water Blocks EK-FC260 GTX SLI (55nm G200b) not sure about this one
Better ohne of Watercools Coolers. Why? They are modular and can transformed to the next gpu.
Tecnofront AirBox plexi 360 - Triple
The airbox is crappy waste of money. Doesn't word cery well.
    6x Noiseblocker NB-Blacksilent XL1 Rev.3 (69 m3/h - 13 dB/A) are these good? because i want silence but with good/decent airflow
Excellent german engeneering. MY first choice i fans.

Much better. Dont ever buy Innovatek! Why? Very good quality, but also very poor cooling power. (the worst of all) And this to the highest, astronomical prices on the market.

i don`t get the point why you want to buy the radbox, wich is used with a single rad, when you`re buying a triple rad... what case are you using? isn`t there the possibility to get everything inside the case?

i would also recommend 16/10 tubes in connection with perfect seal fittings.

like madz already told you, never buy innovatek, it`s a waste of money...

and again i have to agree with madz, the watercool GPU waterblocks are very good, and they indeed do have the advantage you can "upgrade" them for future GPUs...

Thank you very much for your help guys,

I tought to buy the Tecnofront AirBox plexi 360 - Triple its for a 360 rad for better cooling so the fans have breathing "room" between the rad and fans, and for silence, so this is a waste then ok il remove it from my purchase. And il be putting the radiator outside of the case (back) lian li tyr pcx500 wich i find very cool, this is the case for me dont want any other case.

As for the waterblock for a GTX260 55nm i did a huge effort in searching for the right waterblock that will fit the gtx260 55nm in this case the EVGA GTX260 SC 55nm with part number (896-P3-1257-ER) what i understand its a
    P654 pcb version.

see my post on a nother post to see the pictures of the card pcb wich i understand there are some revisions of the pcb offcourse i want the right pcb for watercooling and found it see link: post number #491

Übersicht GTX200-welche Herstellerkarte & welcher Kühler ***UPDATE + OC***

And look at the 2 pictures, i have called EVGA to send me pictures of the card wich they did. I also send a mail to EK waterblocks and they repleyed to me that the card is compatible with their EK Water Blocks EK-FC260 GTX SLI (55nm G200b). I do not know wheter the watercool gpu block is compatible with the videocard. Yes your right if you say i can use the waterblock for future cards maybe the GT300? if i want to upgrade... Then the EK waterblock is a waste you only can use it on the gtx260. But well to go all those effort again asking watercool if the gpu block is compatible with the card......

i did see some very good ideas here for components good thing i came here
Any way thanks for the advise and help

For "breathing room" between rad and fans, you better should use some sort of shrouds: <<<LINK>>> or second possibility is, you craft your own shroud with plexi/acryl-glass.

Yes, i think, the EK-FC260 GTX SLI (55nm G200b) should be the right one for your GPU - provided that you get a card with the "right" PCB from EVGA.

Thank you for the reply Guapa5000,

Yes i hope i have the right pcb i mean i did call evga for the pictures of the card exact model, so vingers crossed!

Ok i'm ready to order a part of the watercooling.
Perhaps this is a noobish question but i have to make sure.

I want the Feser compression fitting, it looks good, especialy in my little mod (window in case). Also are the compression fittings and Tubing compatible do they fit are the size/dimensions right? Can i use those koolance compression 90 degree with feser tubing without problems?, and also are the feser compression compatible with my cpu waterblock, gpu waterblock, radiator etc etc yes i know its al G1/4 so it has to be compatible! But just to make sure spending almost 450 - 500 eur on watercooling i want to be sure.

In other words: 10MM (3/8) compression with Tubing - 3/8 ID - 1/2 OD right?

    see link:

    http://www.it-service.be/webshop/pro...ducts_id=14633

    http://www.it-service.be/webshop/pro...cts_id=1004308

    and tubing

    http://www.it-service.be/webshop/pro...ducts_id=14648

    Thanks in advance
Ps: sorry for perhaps these well....noobish questions ( i dont want to screw this up lol)

yes, this combination of tube & fittings works, even if its a little bit expensive.

can you please make a complete order list with all quantities? it's so annoying, if the watercooling is 99% complete and only one little fitting is missing.

You can get big problems with this tube diameter and the selected fittiings, cause they need too much space on the components.

Better try it with perfect seal fittings!

Madz thanks for the tip you wrote:

The heatkiller has a new revision so 3/8 fitting wil fit, the rad wont be a problem and the EK gpu block i think that also wont be a problem with 3/8 compression fittings. I do want the compression fittings it just looks good and i like them. But if you say perfect seals are better for anti leaking i will take them, are compression fitting good for protection for leaking thats what i read. I almost forgot to ask should i use Teflon tape in the fittings?

You guys are realy helpfull wich i'm very thankful, if it wasnt for you guys i would have made wrong order and miss some parts.

    Thanks in advance.

the list looks good, but there are a few details you have to change.

1.i would buy 10 straigth fittings and 3 90 degree fittings, because the aim is to have no 90 degree fittings, so you just need it as a reserve.
2.don't buy ultra pure water, that's just money making and the local supermarket should sell distilled water, you could use.
3.you don't need the bridging plug seperatly, the as xt already comes with one.
4.i would buy more tubing, about 4-5m, because you need bastelreserve

    Thanks for the headsup,

Alright then 10 straight and 3 x 90 degree fittings got it.

About that pure water its suppose to be better in nonconductivity then regular destiled water, i know the nonconductivity wil decrease over time. But i want to use it for leak testing. Or has pure water the same nonconductivity as destiled water?

bridging plug comes with the Aquastream XT thats cool.

Good point to buy more tubing instead of 3 meter, thanks.

Oh do i need to use teflon tape on the compression fittings?

    Thanks in advance

About that pure water its suppose to be better in nonconductivity then regular destiled water, i know the nonconductivity wil decrease over time. But i want to use it for leak testing. Or has pure water the same nonconductivity as destiled water?
    Ist exactly the same.

Oh do i need to use teflon tape on the compression fittings?
    No its unnesessary.

bawder: "das "loch" wird mit beiliegendem schaumstoff verschlossen, damit die mitteltöne nicht verloren gehen und als sub kommt ein 12 zöller von magnat zum einsatz."
