Bis jetzt hab ich nur nen Gigabyte mATX gesehen, denke aber das da auch noch weitere von anderen Herstellern folgen werden

Wie siehts mic Micro ATX Board aus? könnt mir gut vorstellen, dass sich der i5 in nem Barebone gut macht gerade für Leute die auf Ocen usw. scheißen

Es gab schon einige mATX Mainboards für Sockel 1156 zu sehen. Ich hatte dazu hier im Thread auch die Galerie bei TPU verlinkt. Frei aus dem Gedächtnis:

Hab ich vorhin auch schon gesehen, mit ~39400P gerade mal ~1500P hinter dem WR mitm Bloomfield Sys + Quad SLI!

Für nen "Beta" System (Board & CPU) schonmal kein schlechtes Ergebnis!

Scheinbar scheinen die "nur" 16 PCIe Lanes auch kein Flaschenhals zu sein

Ich habe noch mal nachgesehen und die Boards haben alle noch sehr frühe Revisionsnummern für ihre PCBs, das Namenschaos ist also vermutlich durch Umbenennungen während eines Revisionswechsels entstanden.

Das verschwinden des Tweaktown Videos ist nun auch geklärt:

Intel seems to be playing annoying games at the moment with what can be posted and what cannot - and it's horrible as media to work with. Just last week they allowed motherboard manufacturers to show off their P55 boards (with no benchmarks) and now this week the rule has changed and it's been banned again. I wish Intel would make up their minds. That is the reason why our GIGABYTE P55 introduction video disappeared, but it's likely to re-appear at anytime with the way Intel changes rules every five minutes. Get your act together, Intel.

beim DFI Lanparty DK P55-T3eH8 ist ja eine analoge spannungsversorgung verbaut und beim DFI Lanparty UT P55-T3eH8 eine digitale, wo genau liegen jetzt die vor und nachteile?

Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD4 mATX Motherboard Detailed

We managed to get hold of some exclusive photos of the up-and-coming Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD4 Motherboard from our "special" source in Asia. It's the first micro ATX motherboard to feature Intel's soon to be released P55 chipset. It will support Intel's new Core i5 processors (LGA1156), which will be announced around Q3/Q4.

The motherboard is aimed at the mainstream market and should give users an affordable upgrade path from the older LGA775 platform. We've also been informed that the motherboard will support dual channel DDR3, as well as Crossfire and SLI multi GPU configuration. Needless to say the motherboard will also feature Gigabyte's DES technology and 2oz copper PCB.

When Intel's LGA1156 platform finally gets released, we'll have see if the whether the Intel P55 chipset along with Intel's new Core i5 processors can really deleiver in terms of performance and price. In the meantime, indulge yourself with these exclusive photos below ...

Wieso sollte dies entfallen? Ich les bei den Gigabyte-Boards andauernd was von
SATA III-Anschlüssen...

Und wie sieht es in Sachen OC aus? Reicht das UD4P auch für ein sehr gutes Übertakten oder muss da wieder die teuerste Variante der Gigabyte-Serie herhalten? Meint ihr der Preis für das UD4P liegt um die 150€?

Die Boards sollen ja wesentlich billiger sein als die für S1366...

die P55 Boards haben Sata III über nen Zusatzchip von Marvell, dieser Chip weist scheinbar Fehler / Defekte auf (was genau ist nicht bekannt) aber scheinbar nehmen Asus und Gigabyte diese Chips erstmal komplett von den Boards so das die ersten P55 Board "vorraussichtlich" ohne Sata III Support ausgeliefert werden.

Preise sind zZ nicht bekannt, könnte mir aber vorstellen das nen UD4 um die 115-140€ kosten wird. Zum übertakten sollte selbst das UD3 reichen

achso na dann....
ja, ich mein mit dem Übertakten auch, dass man auf keine Spannungseinstellungen verzichten muss, die einen am OC behindern könnten....oder andere Einstellungen halt....
Worin unterscheiden sich die verschiedenen Versionen dann? Nur in Sachen Ausstattung und vllt besserer Kühlung?
