Notebook für DVB-T

ich hoffe jemand hat Ahnung davon. Mein Bruder ist Brummi-Fahrer und muss öfters mal warten zum Be- und Entladen. Nun möchte er sich gern ein Notebook zulegen und damit DVD's und DVB-T gucken. Es soll ein gebrauchtes sein. Wenn ich jatzt aber mir die Systemanforderungen von DVB-T-Karten anschaue steht dort immer mindestens ca. 850 Mhz, empfohlen sind z.B. 2 Ghz. Ich denke dass hat auch was mit aufnehmen zu tun. Er will aber nur gucken. Reicht da ein gebrauchtes mit 1 Ghz?

1) DVB-T doesn't work everywhere in Germany. So, for a driver it is more reasonable to have DVB-T Duo (Dual) card (for both digital and analog TV). They exist both as USB sticks and PCMCIA cards.

2) I was experimenting with my PCMCIA DVB-T Duo card (Lifeview). In the description the recommended processor is 2GHz. However, the card works excellently on my girlfriend's PM 1.6GHz notebook. Moreover, it was working OK
for receiving digital TV when I was restricting my processor speed to 600 MHz
(but it was Pentium M).

I guess the processor speed is needed only for some specific operations with the card like video decoding but not for receiving.

However, I am not sure how it will work on 1GHz Pentium III. I have an impression that I read on some forum that it will actually work even with Pentium III. I'd suggest to ask on some specialized forum.
